"I love YSMT because they give everybody the opportunity to participate. You are always included and they make sure that you have your own special job on and off of the stage. YSMT always encourages new children who join to keep going as they work their way up to stardom.

My daughter LOVES YSMT and I do too!! Their passion and love for entertainment is contagious. My daughter leaves there with such pride and confidence and always a smile on her face. Watching the performances and seeing each and every kid shine puts a smile on my face! We’re so happy to be a part of this wonderful group and truly appreciate the effort and dedication the staff put into everything they do! My daughter has grown as a performer and continues to learn, all while having a blast doing it! That’s what makes this place amazing!

You are such a blessing in my life. I do not know how you guys teach so many kids. And I also like how you make me look so cool in my costumes. Theatre is one of my favorite places to be. I have never been to something better than musical theatre. Love you guys!!

The word amazing would be an understatement! I have 2 daughters that attend Young Star and I could see a difference in their confidence from the start. Shmaine and Lexy are both accommodating, understanding, and flexible with all the parents and children. I cannot say enough great things about Young Star Musical Theatre.

When I'm at YSMT I feel better about myself and it boosts my confidence, YSMT makes me feel great.

YSMT changed my life because it showed me a new world where I can be myself and have a lot of fun!

We are so fortunate to be a part of YSMT and all they offer for my 3 children. The Mother/Daughter owners are amazing and their enthusiasm and excitement for teaching all parts of theatre performance are evident when you see their shows. The musicals that my children learn and perform are so professional and they have taught my kids such an appreciation of music, dance, singing, costuming, and stage presence. When your kids beg to go to the theatre you know it’s a good fit. We love YSMT and look forward to many more amazing shows with our children! They rock!!!

YSMT has been a fun experience. I've learned so much while being here. I have been able to express myself, and give emotion. I have made friends and I love YSMT. 

YSMT has helped my daughter grow with confidence and a love for Broadway. It's also been her happy place and safe comfort zone during these past 4 months. We love the new location in downtown Winter Garden, next door to the library!

My daughter has found her “happy place” with YSMT. I truly can’t say enough good things about Lexy, Shmaine and this program. I love how they recognize a child’s ability and push them to do more while cultivating their talent. My daughter has gained so much confidence in this past year! She looks forward to her time here so much that sometimes it’s hard to get her to leave! We’ve also met and made some great friends within the program. It feels more like a family!!!

YSMT has been nothing short of an amazing experience for my 11 year old daughter. This company truly cares about not only the theatrical instruction that takes place but, the children themselves. They make every effort to communicate effectively with parents and keep parents invested as part of one big theater family. My daughter always comes home with a big smile on her face and always looks forward to attending all things YSMT! A wise witch one said “Everyone deserves the chance to fly!” (Elphie, Wicked) YSMT is the place where kids truly get the chance to spread their wings! The energy and confidence that Ms. Shmaine and Lexy pour into the kids is obvious when they all exit each class, rehearsal, camp beaming with pride and excitement! We are new to YSMT and my daughter already feels like she has found a place where she can shine and be supported as she pursues her passion for performing. We have been with YSMT for a year now and my daughter loves it! The owners Lexy and Shmaine are absolutely amazing! They make you feel like family the moment you walk in the door. YSMT is my daughters second home, she loves every hour spent at the studio! We look forward to many more years of amazing shows!

It's a place where I can do what I love to do, sing, act, dance the whole time. Since I've been here I've met so many people that are now my best friends. And I know it will do the same for you. 

I love YSMT because it made me feel more at home than any other program I ever did. YSMT taught me to be myself on stage no matter who is watching. Before I participated in YSMT, musical theatre was stressful and difficult but I now love musical theatre more than any other activity in the world. 

YSMT changed my life because it made me feel more confident in acting, dancing, and singing. It also made me come out of my turtle shell. YSMT also makes me feel happy when I'm upset and no one judges me there. I love YSMT!

If I could give 20 stars I would..... My daughter wanted to try dance so I hesitantly placed her in YSMT. This was the best decision ever. Lexy & Schmaine are the best instructors. The amount of time and energy they put into the kids is absolutely amazing. Through YSMT, my daughter got to perform on stage at Dr. Phillips in a musical, which has boosted her confidence to try new types of acting and dance. Thank you YSMT for giving all kids an opportunity to be STARS!
